Another option to fix the aol mail not working on outlook is to try a third-party tool. Most of these are free, and most offer a free trial version. You can use SysTools' AOL mail backup tool to restore your old AOL emails. You can also add AOL emails in PST format. To do this, right-click on the left-hand pane and choose "add to PST file".
